DESCRIPTION:This week Ruppert will be in Countryhouse Monday 4/20 and Tuesday 4/21. \nAs we have previously mentioned\, they will be spraying garden areas in preparation for mulching next week as well as walkways\, to stop the growth of weeds from all the warm weather we have had. Like last year\, they will be using a combination of pre-emergent and post-emergent products that are purported to be a healthier version of Round Up. According to Ruppert\, the chemicals are absorbed into the weed’s system more quickly and it should be safe to walk in these areas after 24 hours or less. \nThose of you who have chosen to be placed on the No Spray list will be responsible for removing the weeds in your own areas. White or green flags will be placed at the entrance of each close as the spraying is finished. \nThank you for your cooperation with the landscaping crew as they perform this necessary\, but not always popular\, work. It will help ensure the success of our mulching program\, which is a very large part of our landscaping budget. \nBonnie O’Connell

DESCRIPTION:We are preparing to do our seasonal mulching project so we want to update you about it. The work is actually done by a company contracted by Ruppert\, not our crew\, and is set to begin around April 27.  They will be spreading  triple shredded mulch around the fronts and sides of homes to a depth of two inches\, except for those homes that are on the “no mulch” list. \nMulch will not be placed on top of pine straw so\, if either you or mother nature have placed pine straw in these areas\, please rake it away to allow for the mulch placement. \nNo mulch will be spread in the backs of homes\, so that will be up to you to do if you have gardens there. \nPine straw will be placed in natural and sloped areas\, as was done last year.
