Matt Emmerson\, who oversees our Davey contract\, went around yesterday checking on the status of trees staged for pickup.\nThey had hoped to finish their work this week\, but the weather had other ideas\, so it may take until next week for these trees to be removed. DESCRIPTION:During the winter off-season\, Ruppert’s visits do not follow a regular schedule due to moving crews around as needed. This week they were in Countryhouse Monday morning and back on Tuesday. \nWe have had some comments and questions about the piles of wood chips placed in several locations. We had been thinking about the possibility of using them and\, at our request\, Davey gave them to us at no charge. We plan to use them in areas other than next to homes\, where we will apply traditional shredded mulch. We hope this will prove to be an effective and cost saving addition to our mulching budget. It is an experiment for us\, but Camden has been doing it for several years so we are optimistic. \nBonnie O’Connell
