This week Ruppert will be in Countryhouse Monday 4/20 and Tuesday 4/21.

As we have previously mentioned, they will be spraying garden areas in preparation for mulching next week as well as walkways, to stop the growth of weeds from all the warm weather we have had. Like last year, they will be using a combination of pre-emergent and post-emergent products that are purported to be a healthier version of Round Up. According to Ruppert, the chemicals are absorbed into the weed’s system more quickly and it should be safe to walk in these areas after 24 hours or less.

Those of you who have chosen to be placed on the No Spray list will be responsible for removing the weeds in your own areas. White or green flags will be placed at the entrance of each close as the spraying is finished.

Thank you for your cooperation with the landscaping crew as they perform this necessary, but not always popular, work. It will help ensure the success of our mulching program, which is a very large part of our landscaping budget.
