  • Landscaping Update: 1/8-1/9

This week Ruppert will be in Countryhouse Thursday 1/8 and Friday 1/9 and, for the foreseeable future, their regular schedule will include these two days of the week. They will be performing their regular maintenance duties and continuing with the trimming of shrubs not yet touched.

Several of you have asked about Christmas tree pickup. They will be removing the trees and, as soon as I have a definite date, I will send out a notice as to when it will happen.

  • Landscape Update: 12/16

I received a message saying that Ruppert will be in Countryhouse Tuesday 12/16. However, as you have probably noticed, my information as of late has not been too accurate. This is all due to weather and staffing issues since the seasonal workers have returned to their home countries.

After this week, there will be no further visits until the week of January 5, when regularly scheduled visits will resume.

The Landscaping Committee wishes everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

  • Drainage Project to Begin Mid-December

The first phase of our drainage project will begin on or shortly after December 15, weather dependent. The first phase includes installing new drainage pipes behind homes in Crossvine and Wintercrest East which will drain under the berm and along the drainage ditch at Lassiter Lane. The old drainage pipes will be abandoned. Care will be taken to protect the impacted trees as digging progresses.

This Phase 1 work will take 5-10 days to complete. Construction debris will be removed. Topsoil and grass seed will be applied on top of the new pipes.

Phase 2 will begin as budget money is available. Our plan is to work Close by Close addressing issues identified last spring by North Carolina Drainage. Please see the master drainage spreadsheet available on the Countryhouse website for more details on future Close projects.

The drainage committee appreciates the patience of Countryhouse residents who have been waiting for their drainage issues to be fixed.

The committee also thanks Michelle and Mill House for their quick turnaround, follow-up and support. Please contact Mill House Properties at hoa@millhouseproperties.com with any questions.

    Thank you,
    Your Countryhouse Drainage Committee

  • Landscaping Update: 11/17-11/18

Last week’s schedule did not work out as planned, but the new shrubs were planted throughout Countryhouse and have received one round of watering.
This week Ruppert will be coming Monday and Tuesday to do their regular maintenance work. I know that a lot of you are asking about shrub trimming and it will be done when they finish up the work in Weathersfield, hopefully soon.

  • Landscaping Update: 11/13-11/14

This week Ruppert’s schedule will be different. They will be in Countryhouse on Thursday 11/13 and Friday 11/14 performing their regular maintenance duties.

Also on Thursday, the planting of the 79 new shrubs is expected to begin. Last week the landscape committee marked the location of every new shrub with stakes and dowels, with the name of the plants on them. We are happy to see all our planning come to fruition.
