Landscaping Update 10/19-10/23

This week Ruppert will be in Countryhouse Monday 10/19-Wednesday 10/21. In addition to doing their regular maintenance work, they plan to finish up the fall trimming of shrubs and small trees. The aeration and overseeding is also expected to be completed this week, so there will be no mowing for few weeks to allow the seeding to take hold.

There is also news from the Tree Committee. The annual fall tree survey is underway, so you may notice a small group of people walking through your close looking up at the treetops. You may also notice red or white ribbons attached to some of the trees, so this is a reminder: Red=Removal, White=Prune, and Red/White=Evaluate by a professional arborist. By the end of November every close will have been inspected and then a list of recommendations for the trees will be created. Once compiled, this will be sent out for bid to interested tree companies.
