  • Landscaping Update: 3/17

Ruppert worked yesterday, Monday 3/16, in the stormy weather trimming and pruning tree limbs to provide safe access under and around trees. Today, Tuesday 3/17,  they are back picking up storm debris and doing their normal maintenance work.
A reminder to residents to email me if you prefer to take care of mulching your yard, rather than having Ruppert do it. We need notification by this Friday, 3/20.

  • Landscaping Update: 3/13

This week Ruppert will be in Countryhouse tomorrow, Friday 3/13. They will be doing their regular maintenance work, so please have your bags and bundles of debris ready for pickup.

  • Landscaping Update: 3/5

This week Ruppert is scheduled to be in Countryhouse Thursday 3/5. They will be performing their regular maintenance work, blowing and picking up debris. The committee plans to meet with our Ruppert manager on Friday to discuss ways to strategically relocate some of the wood chips for easier access to areas that need them. The pile on Wealdstone has already been applied in that area.

  • Landscaping Update: 2/16-2/20

During the winter off-season, Ruppert’s visits do not follow a regular schedule due to moving crews around as needed. This week they were in Countryhouse Monday morning and back on Tuesday.

We have had some comments and questions about the piles of wood chips placed in several locations. We had been thinking about the possibility of using them and, at our request, Davey gave them to us at no charge. We plan to use them in areas other than next to homes, where we will apply traditional shredded mulch. We hope this will prove to be an effective and cost saving addition to our mulching budget. It is an experiment for us, but Camden has been doing it for several years so we are optimistic.

  • Landscaping Update 2/5-2/6

Now that the snow and ice have finally cleared (mostly) Ruppert is able to be here today, Friday, to do maintenance work.
We also want to mention that if any of you have cut down, but not removed, trees on your property Davey will be carrying them away per their contract. Matt Emmerson, who oversees our Davey contract, went around yesterday checking on the status of trees staged for pickup.
They had hoped to finish their work this week, but the weather had other ideas, so it may take until next week for these trees to be removed. It will happen!

  • Tree Work Continues

Prior to the storm, Davey completed all PRUNING items in Baneberry, Sycamore, Whisperwood, Weymouth, Linden, and partially completed Lyndfield.

Today they have 3 crews on site. One crew continuing in Lyndfield, another crew starting in Brampton, and another crew starting in Wintercrest East. They will continue pruning tomorrow, working the way down the list.

They will also begin the removals tomorrow starting in Baneberry and working down the list. Please contact Mill House at hoa@millhouseproperties.com if you have any questions.

  • First Choice Disposal Update

First Choice is closed today and will resume trash and recycle pickup when roads are clear and their recycle and dump facilities are open.

They recommend placing garbage and recycle containers out today, if possible. They will try to double up their routes, but if weather delays persist, they will pick up everything next Tuesday.

  • Tree Removal and Pruning Work Begins

The tree committee walked all closes and found trees that need to be removed or pruned and the board has approved the work. Davey Tree will start tomorrow, January 22, ahead of the incoming storm. If you have any questions, please contact Mill House at hoa@millhouseproperties.com.

  • Landscaping Update: 1/19-1/22

Ruppert was here on Monday as a precaution for the possible stormy weather later this week. They are planning to also come Wednesday 1/21 and Thursday 1/22 to continue with maintenance work and trimming where needed.
